This Sunday’s bulletin and Daily Prayers are available below.
A small service was held at noon today to celebrate the Annunciation of our Lord – when the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive and give birth to the Christ.
Unfortunately, due to a file size restriction, the bulletin is included here in two separate files.
Please pray for an end to the current COVID-19 crisis.
Prayer During an Epidemic
Almighty God, heavenly Father, give us grace to trust You during this time of illness and distress. In mercy put an end to the coronavirus that afflicts us. Grant relief to those who suffer, and comfort all who mourn. Sustain all medical personnel in their labors, and cause Your people ever to serve You in righteousness and holiness; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Prayer for a specific individual
Lord God, the strength of the weak and the consolation of those who suffer, mercifully hear our prayers, and grant (name) the help of Your power, that his/her/their sickness may be turned to health and our sorrow into joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For doctors, surgeons, nurses, care providers, and other medical personnel
Lord God, be with the doctors and nurses and all others who are caring for the needs of Your people, that blessed by You, their care may serve to the healing of their sickness and lead to a speedy return of health according to Your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Pray for those unemployed at this time
Heavenly Father, we commend to Your care those who suffer from want and anxiety from lack of work. Grant that this calamity would end soon, that the wealth and resources of this rich land be profitably used so that all persons may find suitable and fulfilling employment and receive just payment for their labor; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
The Lord’s Prayer / Our Father
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us + from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
